About Me

I am excited to have been granted permanent residency here in Australia and hope that my European training and background will add a fresh dynamic to the riders I work with.

Now that I am settled, I have been given the opportunity to take on regular riding and training and I look forward to expanding my skills as well as passing on what I have learned in European competition and training.

Experience

I began horse riding when I was 12 years old and soon after I started I got my first horse which was a Russian TB stallion. With this horse I gained lots of experience in stallion handling. That horse also wasn't the easiest to ride, at least not for a beginner, but I soon learned which training methods worked best on him.
I was training with him about 6 days a week and got all my riding certificates with this horse. We were also competing up to level 3 dressage.
At the same time I was riding a number of different horses to get more experience in dressage and show jumping.

After a few years I got my second horse which was a Bavarian WB mare. She was pretty much just green broken and with the help of my trainer at the time we started competing in the same season that I bought her.
We competed up to level 4 dressage and level 2 show jumping. I was always keener on dressage than jumping.
In training at home we started Piaffe, Passage and Pirouettes.

Over the Years I had many different dressage and show jumping trainers, most of the time a few different trainers at the same time, just to learn as much as possible. Every trainer has different methods which I always found very interesting and a great experience.
I also attended several different dressage courses with FEI riders and coaches such as David Wonesch, Stephanie Dearing, Patricia Galleitner sen. & jun. and the Austrian Olympic dressage rider Peter Gmoser and many more.

I also had several dressage horses reaching from level 1 up to level 5 to ride and train by that time as well.
I then started riding and competing at FEI level up to Inter II national successfully and at a few competitions in other Countries as a  guest rider.
The last horse I was competing on was an Inter I finished WB, that soon after I started riding it was ready for competition in Inter II. He soon was GP ready and we planned on competing GP and qualify for international comps, but then the horse got a bad leg injury and it all stopped there.
I then gave up riding for a few months. I got back into it after the break, but it wasn't the same anymore and so I decided to give up riding for good.
Well that didn't last very long. I just can't be without horses. It was good for me to take a longish break though, because in that time I read pretty much every riding book ever written and thought about riding a lot. I think during that time I got a very good understanding for horses and how they function, etc.
I enjoy teaching, sharing my knowledge and giving advise as much as I enjoy riding my self.

Until recently, I was the trainer of the Pakistan Eventing Teams sole rider who has unfortunately retired now.
